Hosting a Pod:

An ideal facility for a School Pod is a spacious room with access to washroom and kitchenette. It is advisable that there is a mudroom space to keep coats and shoes and other personal belongings.  As each Pod day will include outdoor time, the facility should have access to a green space or close-by park. Each person/family hosting a Pod will be compensated for each day activities are being held. This compensation is to offset expenses for utilities and maintenance.  The teacher leading each Pod is in charge of safety, therefore, the host’s presence during the school day is not mandatory.  Insurance policy for the facility will be arranged.
